I replied 'betrayal' after being betrayed
Something that I couldn't pin down before
Suddenly found itself caught in my grasp
And the fear behind my unsteady trust
Bared its pretty teeth with a revelation
A brutal kiss that tasted like truth
A too-late realization that I never
Know what I don't want until I have it
