Lies a deep torment
That no one has yet to understand.

There's a lost little girl
Reaching out for a grown-up's hand.

There's a fraidy-cat
Who doesn't know where to turn.

There's still some ignorance
That eagerly wants to learn.

There's a breaking heart
That's constantly wondering "Why?"

There's a hidden frown
Moist with the tears that I cry.

There's a girl
With nowhere else to go.

There is nothing
That someone didn't know.
