I'm Inside, I'm You

by Jersey D Gibson

What's real?
What's true?
Now that,
we're through.

Can't give,
can't take.
Inbetween,
forsake.

A twist,
you pull.
My senses,
so dull.

My hate,
will do.
I'm inside,
I'm you.

You can't expect me just to lay down and die.
You can't expect to hurt me, then run and hide.
You can't expect not to lose when you play the game.
If you do what you've always done, then nothing will change.

Silent,
but deadly.
You leave,
so readily.

Our dreams,
so broken.
My heart,
your token.

Can't move,
can't breath.
Can you please,
just leave?

You took,
my will.
I hate,
you still.

You can't expect to always get away with it all.
The higher the risks, the easier that you fall.
On your way, you left me with nothing left to live.
You've taken everything, now I have nothing left to give.

Author's Note: This song sounds a lil like a mixture of both Adema and Korn, someone told me, which is strange, since I had to tell them that the lead singers of both bands are half-brothers. This was originally a different poem, butthe format wouldn't fit on pathetic, so I changed the poem.
