What Does Tomorrow Hold

by Charles M Harrison

What does tomorrow hold, only time will tell.
We may never know I guess it's just as well.
Will there still be sand and trees, sky, wind, rain, and the sun?
Will there still be lakes and seas, birds and bees, wild horses that run?
What will we leave tomorrows child, what will his legacy be?
Will he look back on us with joy, or shame for the likes of you and me?
What does tomorrow hold, only time will tell.
We may never know I guess it's just as well.
Tomorrow is not ours to have, for it does not last.
It comes to us as the present and leaves us as the past.
What will tomorrow hold, only God can tell.
We may never know I guess it's just as well.
