The Green Sofa (Adult)

by Amanda Conlogue

In the dim-lit room, I lay back
On the green-striped sofa and take in
Reflections of light off your pale skin
White like the blizzard outside
The flex of thin arms braced over me
The gleam off your long column of neck
My mouth seeks it like a nursling
You groan, tilt your head down
A meeting of lips and tongues
As you take your time, pressing
Deep inside me, and I am lost
In you, lost in the tender stinging
Stretch of my body, I moan
With every retreat of your hips
Until you come home again
