longnecks, sleek and thin
dripping enticing dew
or portly forms holding
sweet golden fluid nectar
under pressured release
climaxing, pouring forth
bottled contents which
brewed and waiting there
become frothy draughts
providing welcome relief
quenching fathomless thirst
spurning those desires to see
worn out labels revealing
the born-on-dates that
may potentially determine
whether I might indulge
or possibly would not
deter my passion to drink
depending upon how fresh
you might really be
