A Storm in Sin

by Lori I Wolfe

I stood at the opened doors
Listening to the thunder
The breeze kissed my naked flesh
With teardrops from heaven
The lightning lit like candles in the sky
Whispering, I called out for you
Footsteps were softly drown out by the storm
I felt the feather touch upon my shoulder
It seemed like the silk of my own hair
But then I felt your breath upon my neck
Within my dream you were there
I moaned as you caressed my skin
While lips awaken my soul
Then lightning crashed through the trees
Sending it into flames of fury
The hands upon my skin
No longer tingled my flesh
But caused fear and pain
Blood dripped from my wounds
I ran into the Black Forest
Trying to escape this hellish nightmare
Branches stretched out marring my skin
My screams went silent within the wind
Tears mingling in a rain of terror
Voices screamed inside of my mind
As the earth came up around me
A whirlwind of horror captured me
Pulling me into the depth of hell
The ground above me caving in
Sinking inside the walls of sin
