I purposed to love you

devoting every written word to you

and when the time come for you to devote words to me
I got cheated
and yet
when I called to you
you answered
leading me
taking my hand
showing me beauty
and then leaving me
cold
alone
waiting
waiting for something that would never come
and there
in the quiet of my heart
I stopped calling
stopped waiting
and embraced the cold
