Butterfly

by Charles E Minshall

___________________________

I dreamt I was a butterfly,
That I had wings, that I could fly.
Drift, float and pirouette
Higher than any parapet.

I traveled far, I traveled wide,
I saw the world in a powerglide.
Then I awoke beside my bed
With flapping arms and bump on head.

Hi Charles, Good one. Strange dreams we have have, huh? Like ouch, it's hard on the head too. You were trying to fly like a butterfly. Jean
