This place I call home
The house of family
Welcomes me
With open arm
Never to let me go

Though all may seem happy
Gloom subsides
Leaving emptiness
Loneliness
To all around me

And I sit here
In this place called home
And wonder why
People hate people
Family hating family

But I still move on
Push my way through
Bringing my friend along
Showing her the happiness
She has longed to see

So in this house
You will see
Only happiness
Nothing less
Remaining that way always

Happiness is us
In this happy home
Our home
Never to let us go
