Eyes the windows to the soul
Ever wonder why or why not
As the day to day life goes by
Many people in need of
A smile, hug, or just a simple hello
This world crumbles as time goes on
No unity in the humanity
Tears are no longer worth a thing
Violence stains the spirit
We can’t find where we belong
As people hate people for illogical reasons
Suicide the only escape many people might think.
Poor kids can’t stand the ways of life
The image of thinness makes girls shove their
Fingers down their throats
Music can heal the heart, the spirit, and the soul
We need to express our love towards others
Can’t change the world by one's self
Eyes glued shut can’t even realize the beauty
Of the new day's sunshine
That’s what we have to realize.
