A Stranger

by Beth K Hannah

I only know your name
And the fact your smile is like rain
Playing on my perched soul
I had a feeling
When we exchanged our six words
That you could be my gravity
And I your tide
Always coming back
I watch you from across the store
Your lanky stare
Your possessive walk
And I feel balanced
I know not your touch
Or your taste
Or how you like my face
But I know your voice
Even in my dreams
You could measure up
Be like my deity
And make me all yours
Completely.

Well, externally a stranger. Not internally.Nicely produced.Nicely said. And in no uncertain terms.
