can you see across the land?
into my eyes
into my heart
breaking me into pieces
I didn't know I could be broken into
thinking thoughts
I haven't thought before
and there I am
asking questions I've never asked before
laughing out loud
and wondering why
overanalyzing every shift
feeling very carefully for my own heart
to see what it's doing in there
walking so very circumspect
and guarding me
as I always do
but you deserve a thank you I maybe didn't give
consider this it
if you can see across the land
I can too
I can see your sincerity
honesty
and also convincing
