I See

by Charles M Harrison

When I look into your face I see
love that last to infinity.
I see the beautiful woman
who stole my heart away form me.
I see the joy of days gone by
moments of laughter and of fun,
The good times and the sad times
spent with you, my special one.
I see a caring mother
filled with love and concern.
Who worries for her children
for they have so much to learn.
I see a gracious lady
so proud and so sure.
I see a little girl so small
and so insecure.
I see the one meant for me
all the days of my life.
I see the gift from God,
my best friend and my wife.
When I look into your face I see
love that lasts to infinity.
I see the beautiful woman
who will always be a part of me.
