Everything Went Black by Corey Drover The days are getting colder
While my life is getting older
And I look over my shoulder
To see a retrospect
And I can not help but feel
That the ends somehow not real
That life is but a raw deal
And that it has all been wrecked
Propaganda rears it's head
About the land home to the dead
But it's the preacher who has said
That I shall not be going there
When my time in Eden's spent
A place of darkness I'll be sent
For I've ignored my time of lent
And you shall hear of my despair
It's too late to make amends
For dark visions my mind sends
And nobody likes the ends
For it shows just what we lack
When beliefs lead you astray
Every night and every day
That is when it's time to pay
That is when it all goes black 06/27/2002 Posted on 06/27/2002 Copyright © 2024 Corey Drover
