Doubt

by Corey Drover

One need not travel afar
to see the happiness in their own backyard
Do you aspire to see the sites of the land
To have a new life, to have a new man
But what if you are wrong and your decisions are bad
Are you willing to sacrifice all that you had
You say that you tire of things so mundane
like rising of suns and falling of rain
Your spirit craves excitement, adventure and lust
Consult your heart, it's judgement is just
And if after that you still want to go
then there is something I want you to know
In life and in love I wish you the best
and pray that one day you'll return to the nest
