My first demon was named Lust
He came to me in an alcohol fueled
haze in a crowded downtown bar
It was he that made me bed you
and caused that fateful night

Ghost number two was called Pride
He gladly came along for the ride
after those events at your home
when I thought myself the king
and cared nothing for what you felt

Monster three was known as Gluttony
This boy was responsible for the gorging
of your body and soul that left
you feeling so used night after night
He was responsible, not me

The vampire Sloth was number four
and it was he who made me too
lazy to care about who you were
and too lazy to see you weren't
staying around to take anymore

A fifth spirit named Envy told me where
to find you and your companion that night
He told me how much happier you were
being away from me and let me know
that he was fucking you at that time

The sixth soaring blackbird Greed
was the informant that told me
what I already knew to be true
That you were mine and no one else's
Mine and no one else's

The giant Wrath of seven is why
you ended up like that
He was the one that killed you
It was never my responsibility
It was seven monsters, not me
