Reebox

by Beth K Hannah

You mock my pink shoes
My issues of Cosmopolitian
And my t-shirt that yells 'Girls Rule'

I watch you stand outside the crowd
You turn to me and smile
I feel a punch in the shoulder
And hear "Dork"

If I am such a loser do I ever
Deserve you and all your power
If you were a deity would you smite me
Or keep me to yourself

My pink shoes have been washed
And are faded
My Cosmo issue is a month old
My t-shirt has a rip in it
And I am still a dork in pink shoes.

Feh, some people have silly rules for what makes a dork. :) The third stanza is especially well put. In all, very enjoyable and creative.
