Off You Go

by Amanda L Marron

I can't tell you where I'll be
One year from today
I barely know where I'll be tomorrow
You ask me things that I cannot comply
My heart is with another
Not here with yours
You knew that from the start
Even though I will miss your presence
I fear you will miss mine more
Let fate guide your way
Don't look back now
Off you go on your own

Letting go can sometimes be the kindest thing you can ever do.
