Going over every place of every word
in everything I was going to say
was how I've spent
the biggest part of my day


I couldn't find not one word
which wasn't going to hurt


Speechless,
just a glance was enough
to feel the circumstance


You took my hand
worried and scared
asked what was wrong
seemingly you cared


Frozen silence,
then teary eyed I told you
my heart had partly died


We talked awhile and cried together
A seperation was my suggestion


You only had one question:
"Is that what will make you happy?
If so, it's understood
Baby...then you should!"
