Reminder

by Jersey D Gibson

All the faces I see, I talk to, I meet,
is a reminder to me.
Everyday, waking up, see the sun,
still reminds me.
Of that special place, that special time,
when I once was me.
But now the whole world reminds me,
reminds me I'm not me.

Let me be a reminder,
that the world is changing everyday.
Please let me be reminded,
that everyone's different in every way.
Please, go on and remind me,
be a reminder, go on, remind the world.
Remind me.

All around, I feel the change, I see,
who will remind me.
Don't you dare point your finger and,
remind me.
I see the souls and I know that this is
a reminder, to me.
I feel, I see, I know, I'll be,
a reminder, to be.

Let me be the reminder,
tell the whole world, it's gone.
Go on, be the reminder,
tell us exactally what we don't want to hear.
Please, be the reminder,
remind us, who we want all of us to be.
Remind me.
