I am a leader of many
They go where I say
I can never follow
Until comes the day

That I fall from my own
And I make a life for me
Let everyone look
Allow them all to see

What happens if they just hear
The voice from their life
The one that speaks from within
The one that shows you the fight

Listen closely as it is not often worng
Never to lead you astray
Follow from within
Lead as it would say


Where do we begin and how do we know when
How can I understand the time
What is there to know
Like a story, how do I find the next line?

What is it I look for
Is it behind the next door?
Where do I find the lock?
As I sit and watch the clock

Is it for me that I look
Or is it for the rest?
How do I make up my mind
How do I know I’ve passed the test

I am watching the world from my own eyes
And I am seeing something I do not like
How would I be able to make a difference
Is it from the beginning I start, or do I just follow……


I will follow and I will obey
What I know I have to do
I will hear the commands from deep inside me
As if I always knew

Take me where you will
You have never led me wrong
Speak to me everyday
Come to me in song

I understand what there is
Out there to have for my own
I understand how to reclaim it from where it all has gone
Just like you’ve always known

Send it to my heart
You know that’s where it is true
Speak to me in life
That is what you always do

I’m waiting, where have you gone?
I can’t hear you today
What happened to your voice
Have you lost your way

Is this what I can expect?
Just speaking from time to time
Have you forgotten our deal?
You have to remember, you are still mine

My mind just echoes
What I want of my time
You are just there to speak to me
To help keep it all in line

Do you want to leave?
Go ahead I really don’t care
What good are you anyway
What’s that you say, you dare?

Go away leave me alone
Get the hell out of my head
I don’t need you anymore
I’m in control now, to me you are dead



I have my life back
Does anyone want to see?
Walk with me now and I will show you what I know
Speak with me now, together we will be

I understand what I have to do
May I share what I have found
It’ simple to have, even easier to hold
Don’t be restricted, don’t hold yourself down

Understand the voice within
Allow it to say what you want to hear
You already know what you want to do
Listen closely and have no fear

It will always turn out right
It will never seem more clear
Listen inside, learn how to know
Learn from within, now…. You are here
