I used to think that I could make people love me, if I could just show them how much I loved them.
If I could just work a little harder and make myself just a bit more appealing...
It took me quite awhile...but I realize now...
You can’t force someone to love you...
No matter what you do
I wasted so much energy trying to be with people I claimed to love
When you were there all along...just hidden in the shadows...
You finally came into the light.. You finally came into my life
I don’t know if you realize how much I truly love you
You have turned my world around
You have made up for all of the heartache in my past and ten times more
You don’t realize how my mind, heart, body, and soul all ache to be with you on days you aren’t around
I love you so much...I wish I could tell the world...
You open my eyes to so much...and I love you for that
You make me see things I never would have seen without you
So yes...it took me quite awhile
But I’ve finally found the one...
The one who is meant for me...my destiny
