Fight All for Love 4 (True Love is Forever) by Ryan M EvonFlames below try and climb up,
Try to scorch our feet
Fallen friends lay in wait
Of the fire to remove their bodies
From this world, as death already
Removed their tired souls.
The slain foe also lies waiting,
His soul so heavy it already
Belonged to hell, and has now
Returned. As wood cracks and moans
She moans as well. My love,
Dying in my arms, pain is greater
In my heart, seeing her blood run
Out of her mouth and stomach.
As her eyes stare off, I try to
Make her see me, but she can't
Her focus fixes on what I can only
Guess is heaven and I watch
As my love's life fades away.
My blood stained hands clutch her
And try to caress the life back
Into her beautiful body with the
Immense force of my love,
But through the tears I can see
That this is a power I don't have.
Tips of the flames reach through cracks
In the battle and blood stained floor.
Lifting her body to keep them away
I see more and more of the fire
As the floor breaks away. Wishing
I had more arms I watch as my
Dear friends start slipping away into the flames.
Crystal tears stand on my face while I
Walk with my only love in my arms
Toward a gaping hole with fierce fire
Burning everything it can touch.
Staring at the dead face of my own
Angel I felt my own heart begin
To die within my chest. The
Horrible realization came to me,
That I, being the sole survivor,
Had won the battle and
Stuck down the demon that
Had killed so many, but I
Really failed because all I ever loved
Died. My friends had fought fiercely
Until their deaths and now
Lay burning where they fell
And my true love had courageously Sacrificed herself to save me.
It pains my broken heart
Because I feel like she died
In vain, since I have begun
To die myself, without her.
Stepping over my best friend
Who lay silent as flames
Crawl ver his body makes
The pain sink harder into me.
Standing at the edge of the
Hole I stare into it as
The orange and yellow flames
Dance their own waltz of
Destruction with unwilling partners.
Holding out my arms I hang my love
Over this hell like hole and
Release her body from this cruel
Place that had taken her life.
Aching tears break free as I
Watch her body disappear into
The raging flames below. Just
As she was gone I swear I
Heard her say a final quiet,
"I love thee" that struck my
Heart with a final shot and
I clutched my chest in pain
And jumped in the hole
after her. Falling through
Floors and floors of destruction
I caught a glimpse of a
Beautiful sparkle. When near
It I reached out into the
Flames and grabbed a hold.
A single crystal angel had
Somehow survived the fire, I
Held it tight even though it burned
My flesh, but I felt my heart
Beat fully one last time as
The feeling my angel was waiting
For me, over took me.
A single tear rolled free and I
Kissed my angel on the head
Then let it go and held my
Arms out and looked up as I
Was consumed by the flames,
And set free. 06/12/2002 Posted on 06/12/2002 Copyright © 2025 Ryan M Evon
