We always talked
even when we were miles apart from one anouther
we still wrote
you are important to me
you are like my best friend
so why are you avoiding me now?
I know what others are thinking
that you had some schoolboy crush
and I dashed your hopes
that is not what I meant at all
I want you to be happy
I don't want you to get hurt
that was all I meant
so maybe you were referring to me
when you said your girl was in New York
How was I supposed to know.....
Did I talk you out of her
is that why I haven't heard from you??
I always thought we could tell each other anything
but I guess when push came to shove
I talked you right out of my life.
