dazzle by Mainon A Schwartza stunning moment of
sad but glorious
epiphany
like so many
deep purple, mournful
fireworks
exploding
and gold stars falling
and I have offered you
nothing more
than a tearful
ultimatum
like so many
stars colliding
burning
and holes in our atmosphere
speak of the sorrows
and emptiness
nothing more profound than
hope deferred
and a sickened heart.
