I Woke Up Alone This Morning...

I didn't feel you besides me
when I went to give you a
'good morning' hug.
I woke up alone this morning,
I flipped over to grab a
blanket because you hog them,
but I found them on the floor.
I woke up alone this morning,
to tell you I had a bad dream,
I needed some comfort from you
but you weren't there.
I woke up alone this morning,
alarm clock beeping, so I shut
it off to kiss you but instead,
ended up kissing a pillow.
I woke up alone this morning,
slept on the wrong side of the
bed, cuz' I went to be with you
