watercolor love by Julie Adams
when tears cannot entertain ideology
amidst the chaos of realization,
my sorrows drip
from teary pools of dislocation;
they stain the page of life where I stand
words melting into images
that map out
in deafening silence
love
dissolved
and now that silence drips
from not from eyes,
but aching ears
in the same living ink
that danced beneath my skin
when we first met
