smile softly cus no one's near

pale white, paled red cut through

the empty darkness, of empty highways

no good reason to run, or even hide,

my eyes from your outward glance

tears that fall with each passing mile

what am i afraid of? what leaves me,

endless and awake...

to sit and fill a tattered piece of paper, half-capable of expressing my heart to you.
