within broken lyrics and old cd's

beneath the smile i give you all

at the bottom of endless bottles

and shallow ravines...

through the barrel of a dampened smoke,

or a half emptied silver

on the face of a hundred strangers

across way too many miles

in the eyes of all i scream to

in the hollow hallow places i pray

silence remains my only response


with answers that plague me so.
