Unveiling

by Kristine Briese

The slowly shifting
daylight in my dreams
is unveiling your face,
inch by inch, pore by pore.
The more I see, the more I believe.

The slowly shifting
heartlight in my dreams
is unveiling your soul,
joy by joy, tear by tear.
The more I believe, the more I love.

Kinda like peeling a grape. Pure sweetness, Kristine. Peace...

A beautiful poem, I love how the two verses mirror each other in a physical/spiritual sense.

Graduation? A borderline consignment, like a flash-forward, as angst grows into poetry - yeh, beautiful poetry.

Simple but layered and lovely.
And I love these words right here--->"slowly shifting heartlight in my dreams". A worthy POTD indeed.
