Seaside Rambling

by David R Spellman

I. Tidal

Constant as time is
your ebb surely guaranteed
flowing back to me.

II.
Ashore

Exposed
by your absence,
enveloped in her depth,
cleansed of passing footprints, leaving
no trace.

III.
Skyward

Gray, ominous clouds
no longer threaten to block
the sun’s baking warmth.

IV.
Windswept

Stormy
gusts still become
gentle meandering,
cool drifting thoughts and wishes blown
away.

V.
Together

Elements unearthed,
revel in nature’s beauty,
spirits too indulge.

VI.
Our View

Always
attentive to
becoming something more
worth spending time until beyond
the end.

VII.
The Rest

Its too bad
some have no faith to
take refuge.

The language you use in this is beautiful...it has a very calming affect. The last part is very true...
