Inspiration is a shadow
At the dead of noon

A dry spot
On a rainy day

Castles built from sand
Just before the tide comes in

A clear view
Through a broken windshield

A flower
Buried in the dirt

Happy smiles
From bleeding lips

Dark corners
In well lit rooms

Green grass
Beneath a foot of snow

A white cloud
Shaped like grandpa

A twinkle in
The eyes of an innocent

Horrible acts
That make us think

A smile
That's just for you
