(such a cliche phrase,
beaten to death, but from me,
could never be more true...)

i hope you can hear
hear the pounding of my truth
hear the sincerity in my voice
hear the warmth in my embrace

most of all,
i hope you understand
understand that you're my sister
understand that i would never
never leave you out in the cold
never leave you alone
alone in your despair.
