Sunshine

by Dana E Brossard

To the woman with Dirty Dishwater Blonde Hair,
I have loved you from that first moment,
Where I stood behind you as you sang,
In the campfire light, unknowing of me.

I have watched, waited, and listened,
Finding nothing that didn't call to me,
Even as I watched you walk away from me,
I only withdrew and waited for you.

Four years passed before you returned,
And I find myself, only loving you more,
There is nothing I wouldn't do,
To assure your happiness, my Sunshine.

She must be so wonderful. This is an exquisite, tender tribute. I love the campfire part especially.
