Nine months of waiting
Nine hours of pain
Katie Michelle
is our baby's name

A year has passed
since our daughter's birth
She has made our life
A heaven on earth

The terrible twos
she's grown so much
Instead of 'peek-a-boo'
it's "Katie! Don't touch!"

Katie just turned four
so we go to Pizza Hut to eat
Katie's so excited
she's jumping in her seat

Now my Katie's gone
Because of a drunken man
They buried her today
Only after I held her hand
