Insanity by Melina Raven Maness DieboldFeeling his voices abrasion
On more than one occasion
His reply was sudden and abrupt
My appetite for glory
Stops this senseless story
All power is corrupt
Decisive it was good
Only I and my consort understood
Deciphering it's mystique
Thought such adolescent passion
Is now slightly out of fashion
True love is antique
There was an abundance in fear
Due to an accumulation of tears
For no power is absolute
Though sometimes you're of no use
To the best I can deduce
Your density is an attribute
Tis not an actual ability
Though executed with agility
Nary a blessing in disguise
Serving as a stand-in
Just to recklessly abandon
I sincerely apologize
Before absence is detected
I do not wish to be protected
As my brain it will erode
No drug to administer
His eyes gray and sinister
Burning my sanity's abode
Her face pale and placid
Her voice sour as acid
Her angelic form I see
Two corpses lying adjacent
Voices gasped and hastened
Accordingly punished was she
With affectionate arms I embraced
Leaving my reputation disgraced
An accessory to murder
A title not hard to achieve
With severe punishment to receive
Denying access any further
The details are so petty
Though reminiscent of spaghetti
No such memory is apparent
Your intetnions I don't desire
I really don't admire
A reply so incoherent
Guilty by admission
Rendering an accurate description
under an assumed alias
No visible advantage
I barely can manage
Your intelligence I address
Your opinion please abbreviate
I'm sure you'dappreciate
the absorbant mind of a child
Placed upon the shelf
an assault upon myself
Though the pain be mild
My senses were delayed
My faith you betrayedBut now my trust is regrown
Deciding to hurry
Provoking paused fury
The abstract purpose is unknown
Not deriving much pleasure
next to comparable treasure
Emotions still feeding the fire
With emphasis on the latter
what does it matter
It's a taste you acquire
May I recommend some advice
Before my ultimate demise
Take care of those you hold dear
Employing allure
He remains amateur
Yet the two lovers adhere
Alas, I'm ashamed
Of my fondness for fame
The temptations vary
Agitating my mind
Transforming me blind
