Spiteful words, sharp and jagged
lacerate my soul
My emotional blood gushes
flooding
streaming
leaking, leaving me empty and joyless
Like a box with no contents
nothing to fill it
nothing to make it whole
I am friendless
barren like a bottomless pit
Nothing to love
Everything to hate
The sadness marching throughout my weary form
feels like razors
scraping, tearing
ripping me apart
