Lonely Moon

by Melina Raven Maness Diebold

I wonder if the moon gets lonely
when the stars
are not in the sky

As she sits there all alone
does she grow scared
and softly cry

How does she make it
through the night
and through the years

By whispered prayers,
silent sobs,
and silver tears

I love moon poems and yours raises an interesting question. It has a smooth texture and a soft tone. Nice work Melina. Peace...jadi
