Gaia's Sadness by Melina Raven Maness DieboldPoor, innocent creature
swimming in the deep sea
it's really a shame
that he's not afraid of me
For I with my trusty net
waiting calmly in my boat
will bag that slimy bastard
for a monetary note
With a quick glinting glide
of my sharp, rusty knife
My hands become covered
in the redness of life
The very next day
I'm at the airport
going to get me some ivory
a hot commodity of sorts
I'm boarding the plane
got my bags all ready
going down south
to the sweet Sarangheti
Trodding around
so big and tall
They says he's endangered
but I don't care at all
With a bullet in his brain
with just a single shot
I'll cut out his tusks
and leave his body to rot
Striped and golden
the queen of the pride
I embed a bullet in her brain
and steal away her hide
With a simple definition
It's pure homocide
but for the sake of money
it's all justified
