Death has a Friend

by Melina Raven Maness Diebold

I long to stare into soulless eyes
and to feel their blind gaze upon me

I long to kiss cold lips and to taste the
death upon them

I long to feel dead fingers as they
stroke stiffly against my face

I long to make love in a bed of
satin, my lover so cold and quiet beneath me

And I know ,Death ,she has a lover
if only me

Hi Melina, I just read your poem. Very strange and unsual. And sad. Hope you will find Peace & Joy, soon within yourself. Surley you don't want that. Reach out to the Lord, ask him for help & guideance. Be with your friends and talk. Peace & Joy, Jean.
