An Angel Named Depravity by Melina Raven Maness DieboldWalking through a dire forest, I see a blinding light
I creep closer inspecting, glaring, wondering pondering this phenomenons origin
The light fades a woman stands solidly like a mountain
She steps forward and where she stood I see nothing
Quietly A single sad, sable rose sprouts gracefully, silently, upward
No butterflies light upon this desolate bloom of mournful sorrow
I listen to this melancholy maiden as she sedately speaks
Describing her mission her goal of utter destruction and despair
The woman fades away, without a trace, like never existing
Wait don't go Tell me your name, I implore, commanding
"I cannot say, but you will discover it soon enough-"
"Let's just say that I am an angel named Depravity"
