Alliteration

by Melina Raven Maness Diebold

The glossy glow
radiant, reverberating
Ecstatically echoes everywhere
all around
Teasing me, taunting me, tantalizing me
Evil, erotic
Rotting remains
of love, of life, of legacy
open omens of
virtual vitality and virgin
expectations, exceptions
inside me, incarnate, incomplete
woefully, weary waves wash over me
intensifying, invigorating my inner sanity
Leering, longing, loving looks
Lost in the liquid lair of your eyes
Never knowing, never needing anyone
Everlasting excitement
Vicious visions of veritable truth
Expanding everywhere, eternally throughout
Revolving, reminding me of my repentance
Kindles, knives, piercing me
Near and now and never-ending
An oath of overindulgence
Wounded and wanting

Author's Note: I put this as an acrostic b/c the letter being alliterated in each line spells out something. :D

I don't see that this is actually an acrostic form (that's the category I found it in), but it is a terrific example of alliteration.
