Little Jude, when you sleep
at night and lay down to rest
Know that because of you
your mommy and daddy are blessed.

The past holds sadness and sorrow
and tragic losses over the years
But never forget what you are
The Triumph over their tears.

They went through aches and pains
and with faith and medical charms
It is now by the strength of God
That they hold you in their arms.
