I hear the cries of Innocence
as she lays dying on the ground...
Her life is fading,
her memory waning...
and no sign of healing can be found.

Who caused this death,
this grievous loss?
By who's hands has this clean spirit fell?

It was he...
that damnable he...
the one with his eyes trained on Hell.

While I sing for lost Innocence
her dire funeral dirge
I wonder what will become of this villain
This killer of Innocence? This Society's Scourge....
