Poetic Diffusion

by Betania Tesch

You looked
as a sculpture
a photograph
of yourself
with chardonnay eyes
opalescent sheen
covering your smile.
So lustrous
are the fragmented
sentences
that trill from your lips
and bled to me
an infectious malady
resulting in
poetic diffusion
luminous and piercing
through cloudy comparisons
we blend, clot, stick
and dry together,
a new brand of radiance.

I like the colors that exude from this, both in name and in images
