late 1995 maybe first poem by Oliver DrewmanWhat words are there to describe
The majesty of the sea
The flowing pounding surf
But back it must flee
Rises up in fury
Relentless might i see
Tha causes such a flurry
The mighty sea
Formless yet....
Formed in what it is contained
It does not move from there
Unless it is rained
Yet who is there that keeps it
From flowing from its place
From pouring like a fount
Exploding into space
It is He who created
Who formed this expanse
Who gives it balance
And holds it in His hand
What words are there to describe
The majesty of He
Who holds in His hand
The vastness of the sea
Founder of the ocean
Founder of the sea
Founder of the universe
Yet He loves me 04/01/2002 Posted on 04/01/2002 Copyright © 2024 Oliver Drewman
