Easter

by Jane E Pearce

Christ was in church today,
and partook of the celebration
of the Resurrection-His Resurrection.
I saw Him all over the place- He
was truly off the cross, and living
in the innocent smiles of the youngest
Sunday School class, in the hearts
of the old folks, in the hopes
of the workers, the teachers,
the engineers, the nurses, the pastor,
and He walked with the troubled
facing their own calvary of woe.

We go to Church to be closer to Him,
but remember,He is with us
when we go in the door.

He's also with us before we step through the doors, and when we walk out, isn't it wonderful that we never have to be alone!
