Buried Under Yesterday's Snow

by Jane E Pearce

Seek the raging thief of time,
Track the cache where lost hours repent,
Open the curtain to show slain days,
Capture a picture of hours fast spent,
War fiercly to reclaim them all,
Or hold fast to memory's recall,
      and know
         years go
Buried under yesterday's snow.

yes, things get buried and forgotten. but once in a while they get unearthed and treasured once more. =)

Wonderful write for such a short piece lady. I've been buried under so much 'snow' that at times I could barely breath or felt so. Now as I quickly reach the end of it all I realize how much I've really missed because I've feared to take a chance or the person I did reach for was too fearful. And I've buried all but myself but I'm working to correct that! Take care and reach for what you really want/need!! g
