Never before had I thought
Had I ever thought that I may have
I may have found the one
That one person who understands me
Who understands what I am about.
How quickly that can be taken
Taken away from my grasp
Away from me for reasons still unknown
Unknown in that I can't understand
I can't understand what made you stop
Stop wanting me and change
Change how things are
Things were wonderful
Or at least I truly thought they were
They were ripped away in a moment
A moment that seems a blur
Because I thought this may be
May be The One
Or maybe not.
